What does putting a vehicle “under guard” mean? From what moment is the vehicle “under guard”?

Security mode is the condition of a vehicle with Benish GUARD security system installed on it, in which the equipment responds to alarming events that occur with the vehicle. This is evidenced by data received by specialized software accompanying the security system. This makes it possible and necessary for the Dispatch Center to respond to alarms. In this mode, the vehicle is fully protected from getting into the cabin, trunk, under the hood; towing and unauthorized starting of the engine, sabotage of the system, etc., are impossible.

The system goes into security mode automatically for 70 seconds after removing driver’s tags from the vehicle.

What can be the reason that the information about the location of the vehicle in the application/long-term loss of communication with the vehicle is not updated?

The reason may be the incorrect operation of the GPS antenna of the head unit of the security system. Recommendation is to record for diagnostics to the vehicle dealer. You can call us and we’ll help with the recording.

What can cause the loss of signal?

The system operates by transmitting a GPS and GSM signals from the equipment to the company server. If the vehicle moves to the area of uncertain reception of GPS or GSM signals or complete absence of a signal, communication with the vehicle can be lost.

What does it mean that the vehicle was connected? What does the connection between the security system and the vehicle mean?

This means that the equipment of the satellite security system installed in the client’s vehicle checks its operability, determines the coordinates (location) of the vehicle, transmits information about its location to Benish GPS server.

What can be the cause of a false alarm for a break-in?

Most likely, the reason is the discharged battery in the tag. The recommendation is to replace the battery in the tag.

Are GPS coordinates being read in service mode?

What does blocking the movement of a vehicle mean? What if I was in the vehicle at that moment?

At the moment of blocking, a special signal is transmitted to the microprocessor system responsible for engine control or safety. In rare cases, the operation of the fuel pump is blocked. All this, in the end, leads to blocking the movement of the vehicle. The dispatcher blocks it only if the vehicle is standing or driving at low speed. The vehicle slowly reduces speed to a complete stop.

How quickly does a police patrol or mobile response team arrive?

Within 5 minutes of your confirmation of the need to call the patrol. If none of the proxies answers the call, the dispatcher draws up an application at the police station on duty.

If I cannot answer the phone and the police are called, will I pay for a false call?

This situation is not regarded as a false call. Upon arrival of the police patrol, the driver will need to provide documents confirming the right to drive a vehicle (technical passport and driver’s license). The police patrol confirms to the dispatcher that the vehicle is driven by a person with legal grounds and the alarm is closed. The call to the mobile response team is also not paid by the client.

Is the call of a police patrol or mobile response team paid?

No, you don’t have to pay for the call.

If the vehicle is located, for example, at a service station or a car wash, where signals are constantly received, what to do?

In such a case, a service mode is provided. In this mode, the vehicle is not guarded and is not controlled by our Dispatch Center. You can set or cancel the service mode by calling the Dispatch Center, or in the client’s mobile application.

I have a driver (security guard) in my vehicle all the time, why do I need satellite security?

This is the most common mistake of owners of expensive vehicles. The fact is that a vehicle is rarely hijacked spontaneously. As a rule, attackers have been following it for more than one day. Sooner or later, a moment comes when the owner sends the driver to buy (pick up) something – cigarettes, documents, etc. And at this moment the vehicle is left unattended, which is what the vehicle thieves use. It’s no secret that a factory immobilizer for a professional thief is a matter of time (besides, not very long), and the vehicle is hijacked ...
